Oundle Cinema — Contagion
Creative Oundle are starting up the Cinema again – this time we will be in the Queen Victoria Hall and films will be shown at 7.30 on the last Friday of the month (where possible).The bar will be open from 7pm before the film and during an interval!
We are going to kick off this season – very appropriately given recent events – with an excellent film called Contagion – which was produced in 2012 by Steven Sondbergh and features Kate Winslettt, Matt Damon, Jude Law and Gwyneth Paltrow. It is all about a global pandemic and apparently was so prescient Matt Hancock actually watched it several times to work out what to do once Covid struck!! The music is great too.
