Job Description:
Oundle School IT Department has a very exciting opportunity for a End User Computing Support Lead, to help deliver IT hardware and software across different functional and technical areas of the school.
The School is a 1:1 device School with well over 2000 users. The School is a Microsoft customer and uses Azure, Intune and Entra for its management platform. It is a large organisation with respect to its technological infrastructure, being located across 40 fibre connected buildings.
The Role
The EUC Support Lead will be responsible for managing the installation, upgrade, operation, control, maintenance and effective use of devices for the School.
The role will manage the Intune Policies that drive software configuration and deployment activities, alongside the build process for end user devices. The incumbent will ensure that agreed service levels, security requirements and other quality standards are met, and will report to the IT Service Manager.
Working within a small team of end-user facing IT support analysts, this role will also work alongside the School’s other technical leads. The role will help ensure secure, robust, device management solutions that facilitate pupil education, and allow the organisation to thrive.
Due to the operational demands of this role, the successful candidate will be required to be located on site to ensure timely support and efficient IT service delivery across the School.
Hours of work: Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Salary: £40,000 -£45,000 (Dependent on experience)

The School
Oundle and Laxton Junior Schools have long been associated with the very best of modern independent education, especially boarding.
