Laxton Junior School is an independent day school for children aged 4-11, and an intrinsic part of Oundle School. It is, first and foremost, an incredibly happy school that knows children learn best when they feel cared for, secure and valued as an individual. With around 260 children, it is a school small enough for everyone to know and look out for each other, but big enough to offer great reach and opportunity across all aspects of the curriculum and beyond.
The school is proud of the excellent academic outcomes its children achieve, the majority of pupils progress to Oundle School after Year 6 and those that choose to continue their education elsewhere are supported to progress to a range of local independent and state grammar schools, but prouder still of the intellectually curious, open-minded, kind-hearted and well-rounded young people they become.
