Professor Rosamond McKItterick – Senior History Society, Oundle School
Professor Rosamond McKitterick held the Chair in Medieval History at the University of Cambridge for many years. She will be speaking about the Emperor Charlemagne in the AMR (Oundle School Great Hall Complex) at 7:45pm on Tuesday 7 January. In the medieval period, Charlemagne was the emperor of a huge territory, including modern-day France, Germany and Italy. He was revered as a saint as well as a great ruler well into the early modern period. All are welcome.
