Job Description:

Our Sports Centre is recruiting for qualified Level 2 Swim Instructors to lead on the delivery of swimming lessons to individuals of varying ability.

Our dedicated team of instructors deliver an engaging swim programme that encourages adults and children of all abilities. The successful individuals will be responsible for preparing equipment and ensuring safety provisions prior to delivering high quality lessons. The lessons should be well structured and planned in advance, in collaboration with the wider operations team, to ensure participants reach their relevant award. All sport centre staff welcome every participant in a friendly manner and deliver sessions that are inclusive providing visitors to the centre with a positive experience.

We have varying part time opportunities available to help suit your lifestyle, family and other needs:

Role 1 – Part time (3-8 hours per week) hours to be discussed and agreed at interview. Weekend availability required

Role 2 – Variable hours (Working week may vary)

Shift schedules can vary but are currently scheduled during Swim School opening hours which are currently weekday afternoon and evenings (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and weekend mornings.

Hourly rate – £20.47

Our State of the Art Sports Centre offers a wide range of classes, fitness facilities and activities on a commercial basis, as well as numerous courses, children’s holiday clubs and organised parties. Our facilities include a 50-metre swimming pool, an 8-court hall, a 70-station fitness suite, a dedicated dance studio and three further multipurpose studios.
